VIOLATION OF AMTRAK POLICY

We investigated an allegation that an employee violated Amtrak’s Ethical Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy. We found that the employee engaged in a conflict of interest by creating a website for an Amtrak project through his personally owned website development business while being employed by Amtrak. On September 29, 2016, the company responded that they had verbally counseled the employee for his conduct.
