EMPLOYEE TERMINATED FOR FAILURE TO REPORT ARREST AND THREATENING A PASSENGER

An Amtrak train attendant based in Miami, Florida, was terminated from employment on July 4, 2026, as a result of our investigation. We found that the former employee violated company policy by making a violent threat against a passenger and displaying similar unacceptable behavior aboard the train. We also found that the former employee violated company policy by failing to report an arrest related to workplace violence at a prior place of employment.
